About Us
We at Kari Sports are a dedicated team of members who aspire to reach great heights in the Indian Mortorsport Arena. Founded in the year 2004, by Tuner B. Saminathan. Kari Sports has always been keen on promoting rally sport not only as an adventure sport but also as a potential progressive profession. With our homebase located in Coimbatore, the Motorsport Capital of Indian, we wanted to expand the idea of rallying and in general, motorsports to a wide spectrum of people. With our strong motive to promote motorsports and our undying hardwork, we have established ourselves as one of the best teams in India, participating and winning in more than 100 Racing and Rallying events. We also hold several National championships to our name. Apart from holding a strong position, Kari Sports has also proved to be a wonderful safe space for people with common interests to gather and grow. Over the past decade that we have been in business, the team members, drivers and everyone associated with us have shown nothing but the best that they can offer.
When our chance to expand our services chimed in, we gladly took it to start offering motorsports services, maintenance and tuning of rally cars. Our crew of technical specialists proved to be car therapists, turning normal rally cars to star rally cars which proved to be efficient and helped winning several competitions and titles. We started providing rally cars to professional drivers who are in need of best rally companions with a tinge of luck. With our team flourishing into betterment, our own team of specialists branched out into product development, developing and creating products that can accelerate a simple car rally to an exhilarating experience.
We have always trained our team members who chose our cars from their infant steps to groomed professional motorsport drivers. With our continual training efforts to groom drivers to participate and win multiple events, and establishing ourselves, naturally, we wanted to expand our barriers into teaching and sharing our knowledge and experiences with other aspiring motorsport enthusiasts. With this prime vision to learn and grow, we started the Kari Sports Rally School in 2021. Comprised of seasonal training sessions, concentrated classes, effective teaching methods by our professional experienced team, along with our specialized rally built cars and our Tarmac and Gravel circuits, Kari Sports Rally School turned out to be a major hit.
We have always offered the best of what we did, always will. With that being said, we also believe that there is no limit to learning and growing. We still believe that we have a long way to go and aspire to achieve bigger, greater things. Trust, hope, success and growth being our motive, we know that we are ready for whatever our future holds. Tuner B. Saminathan Founder of Kari Sports
Kari Sports was founded by Tuner B. Saminathan in the year 2004. Mr. Saminathan was one of the core pillars of Kari sports. Being interested in motorsports since his school days, he always had an exposure to cars and motorsports. Being inspired by Mr. S. Karivaradhan, he decided to start his motorsport career by joining Mr. Karivaradhan’s team. Maybe that was one of the best decisions of his life, as he grew to become one of the best Tuners in Indian Motorsport arena, also being one of the few people to have an exposure about almost everything in motorsports. With participating and winning in many events in a span of time, Mr. Saminathan founded Kari Sports after Mr. Karivaradhan’s demise, deciding that he wanted to share and nurture his life lessons. Kari Sports drew the inspiration for its name from Mr. S. Karivaradhan as he had been the pioneer to kindle the motorsport fire in Mr. Saminathan. His vision was to make Kari Sports, a nationwide recognized company and to add pride to Mr. Karivaradhan’s name. As a dedicated team who follow the footsteps of our leader, we dream to fulfil his vision, in the path he paved for us.
Karivaradhan Inspiration for Swaminathan
Mr. S. Karivardhan was an Indian formula racing driver, designer and a business executive. He was one of the pioneers of Indian motorsports. He was the major inspiration behind Kari Sports and for Mr. Saminathan. Mr. S. Kari was interested in many areas of mechanics, which also included his interest in aviation. Kari Motor Speedway, the race track in Coimbatore is named after Mr. Karivardhan. Please note that it is not related to Kari Sports as Kari Sports was started under his name as a tribute to Mr. Karivaradhan. Being the sole reason for the founding of Kari Sports and as an inspiration for many aspiring motorsport enthusiasts, including the members of our team, we want to keep up the good work, if not better, and will always bear in mind the purpose of Kari Sports.
